1. Career options

After successfully completing the programme, you will obtain an EASA CPL(A) licence with Frozen ATPL, including the following ratings and certificates:

  • Single-Engine Class Rating
  • Multi-Engine Class Rating
  • Instrument Rating (Multi-Engine)
  • APS/MCC Certificate
  • Advanced Upset Prevention & Recovery Training (UPRT) Certificate

Additionally, you will also obtain an FAA Private Pilot Licence (PPL) with a Single Engine Land rating. Under Belgian regulations, graduates may also apply for an academic equivalence to a Professional Bachelor’s degree in Aviation.

With these qualifications, you will be eligible to apply to any European airline, as well as to airlines operating under EASA guidelines. 

As a member of the International Pilot Center Alliance (IPCA), EuroPilot Center offers graduates continued support after completing their training. Alumni can train in the I-JET simulator and take part in missions within a realistic airline environment, helping them gain valuable operational experience and prepare for their first airline job.

As a result, 95% of our graduates receive a job offer within one year of completing the programme, with airlines such as Brussels Airlines, KLM/Air France Group, British Airways, TUI fly Belgium, ASL Airlines Belgium, Ryanair, airBaltic, VietJet Air, and various private jet operators.

Yes. As a motivated ACP© alumnus, you can participate in the IPCA Instructor Recruitment and be selected for the Flight Instructor Bootcamp.

After successfully completing this intensive training in California, you may start working as a full-time or part-time flight instructor, based in Antwerp or California.

2. The Airline Career Program©

The Airline Career Program© has four start dates per year:

Schedule an online meeting with our Airline Career Coach to apply for the Airline Career Program©. After this, you will begin the free online part of the screening process.

The procedure consists of the following steps:

  • You gain access to the Video Streaming App (iOS & Android) and complete the Math & Physics Refresher Course.

  • You are invited to take the online EPC PELICAN© Test.

  • If successful, you will be invited for the I-JET Simulator Test*.

  • Your Airline Career Coach will provide your screening results within 5 working days.

  • We assist you in scheduling your Class 1 Medical Examination.

  • We collect your personal documents (secondary school diploma, international passport, ID card, criminal record extract, etc.).

  • If required, we assist you with the financing application process.

After completing these steps, the official enrollment procedure will be finalized.

*Simulator Test fee: €150

The classroom theory schedule is fixed and attendance at all classes is mandatory.

The flight training is organized through an individual monthly schedule, similar to an airline roster, combining briefings, simulator sessions and aircraft flights.

Yes. One of the key advantages of the program is that you start flying from day one. By combining theory and practical training in parallel, you develop not only strong academic knowledge but also the practical skills and professional mindset required for a career as an airline pilot.

Throughout the ACP©theory and practical training are fully integrated. The knowledge from ground school is immediately applied during simulator sessions and flight training, resulting in a faster learning process and a deeper understanding of the material.

EuroPilot Center works with a team of full-time and part-time instructors. Our full-time instructors provide daily guidance and support throughout the training program.

In addition, the training is enriched by part-time instructors, many of whom are active airline pilots, bringing their real-world aviation experience directly into the classroom and cockpit.

Experience, professionalism and dedication are at the core of our training.

During the ACP©, you will complete several official theory examinations:

  • EASA PPL(A) Theory - at the end of Phase 1B: Basic VFR (California)

  • FAA PPL(A) Theory - at the start of Phase 2: VFR Cross Country

  • EASA ATPL(A) Theory - at the end of Phase 4: IFR & Multi-Engine

The official exams are scheduled by EuroPilot Center once you have successfully passed the internal mock examinations. The final exam date is determined by the official examination center.

EuroPilot Center also operates its own FAA Testing Center in California.

During the Airline Career Program©, you train exclusively on a modern glass-cockpit fleet, consisting of:

  • Cessna 172SP / G1000 NXi Skyhawks with GFC700 autopilotPBN-approved

  • Diamond DA42 TDI with Garmin G1000 glass cockpit

  • Pipistrel Alpha Trainer Pro 2 with Garmin G1000 glass cockpit

  • Alsim Cessna 172 type-specific simulator with G1000 NXi and GFC700 autopilot, PBN-approved

  • Alsim DA42 type-specific simulator with G1000 NXi and GFC700 autopilotPBN-approved

  • Alsim APS/MCC Medium Range Swept Wing Jet Simulator - I-JETPBN-approved

No. You do not need to purchase any pilot equipment or tools before starting the program. Everything required for both theory and flight training is included in the ACP©.

This includes:

  • All theory books and study materials

  • An iPad for digital flight training and study

  • Bose Aviation headset

  • Flight bags and pilot equipment

  • All simulator and aircraft training

This allows you to start your training immediately without additional equipment costs.

During the ACP©, students wear a professional pilot uniform. The uniform package includes:

  • 4 white pilot shirts (2 long-sleeve, 2 short-sleeve)

  • Black clip-on tie (clip-on for safety reasons)

  • EPC Epaulettes - 2 stripes at the start of Phase 1A

  • EPC Epaulettes - 3 stripes at the start of Phase 4

  • 2 black trousers (Antwerp campus)

  • 1 black sweater (Antwerp campus)

  • 2 camel-colored trousers (California campus, adapted to the warmer climate)

  • EPC Pilot Wings at the end of Phase 3

  • EPC lanyard

  • EPC high-visibility safety vest

Later in the program:

  • IPCA Epaulettes - 3 stripes at the end of Phase 6

  • IPCA Pilot Wings at the end of Phase 6

  • IPCA Epaulettes at the end of Phase 6

Students must provide their own formal shoes:

  • Black shoes for the Antwerp campus

  • Camel-colored shoes for the California campus.

During their training in California, students stay at the SoCal Pilot Residence, EuroPilot Center’s dedicated student housing.

The residence is located in a new residential community approximately 10 minutes from the airport and is fully equipped for pilot students. Each house includes:

  • 6 furnished bedrooms (2 students per room, private room optional)

  • 3 bathrooms

  • spacious living area with flatscreen TV and high-speed WiFi

  • fully equipped kitchen

  • Washing machine and dryer

This allows students to combine comfortable living with intensive flight training in California.

The SoCal Pilot Residence is located in La Quinta, approximately a 10-minute drive from Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport (KTRM) in Thermal, where the flight training takes place.

The residence is situated in the Coachella Valley, a well-known region in Southern California including cities such as Palm Springs, La Quinta and Indio. Students stay in a modern and quiet residential area, with shops, restaurants and leisure facilities nearby.

Yes. EuroPilot Center is an official SEVIS M-1 Visa provider for pilot training in the United States.

The EPC team assists students throughout the visa application process and administrative procedures required to complete the training in California.

Yes. The Airline Career Program© is an all-in training program.

This means that the main costs related to the California training are included, such as:

  • Round-trip flight ticket to Los Angeles

  • Airport pick-up and drop-off

  • 4 months of accommodation in California (shared room)

  • Utilities including gas, electricity, water and high-speed internet

  • Flight and simulator training

This allows students to focus entirely on their training and flight progress

Please note that local transportation during the training (between the residence and training locations), meals and personal entertainment are not included.

4. Tuition Fee & Financing

Since pilot training programs can vary significantly in terms of content, included services and structure, we believe it is important to first explain the full context of the program. This allows you to make an accurate comparison with other training providers and make a well-informed decision.

To provide you with a clear and complete overview of the investment, payment options and possible financing solutions, we recommend:

  • Scheduling an online meeting with an Airline Career Coach

During this meeting, we will walk you through the program structure, what is included and how the payment plan works, so you receive a transparent and personalized cost overview.

Yes. In cooperation with Belfius Bank, EuroPilot Center offers a dedicated pilot training loan to help finance the program. Our Airline Career Coach will guide you through the entire financing process and assist you with preparing your application. 

During a personal meeting, we review:

  • your eligibility for financing

  • the total cost of the training

  • the available payment options

  • and the financing solutions that best fit your situation.

This ensures you receive a clear and structured financial plan to start your airline pilot training.

Payment for the Airline Career Program© is made through monthly installments.

For the full-time program, the investment is spread over 18 monthly payments. In the part-time program, payments are spread over a longer period, resulting in a lower monthly cost.

During an information session or a personal meeting with an Airline Career Coach, we will explain the payment structure, training timeline and available financing options, giving you a clear overview of the entire program.

5. Screening

The ACP© screening consists of a short online preparation and a series of online tests (free of charge), followed by a Simulator Test on the I-JET (€150).

1. Online Math & Physics Refresher Course

You will receive access to the Video Streaming App (iOS & Android) and the online Math/Physics refresher course to prepare for the screening.

The course includes topics such as:

Mathematics

  • Angles, lines and directions

  • Triangles and trigonometry (Pythagoras, sine, cosine, tangent)

  • Circles (circumference and area)

  • SI units and standard prefixes

  • Vectors and scalar quantities

  • Algebra, equations and interpolation

  • Exercises and examples

Physics

  • Kinematics: speed, motion and acceleration

  • Dynamics: Newton’s laws and forces

  • Work, power and energy

  • Pressure and gas laws

  • Thermodynamics

  • Electrodynamics and electromagnetism

  • Exercises and examples

The complete course takes approximately 3–4 hours and can be started at any time.

Note: Candidates who receive access to the Math/Physics refresher course are required to complete the EPC PELICAN© Test.

 

2. Online EPC PELICAN© Test

The EPC PELICAN© test is an online assessment evaluating the following aspects:

  • P - Physics & Mathematics

  • E - Emotional Stability & Extraversion

  • L - Language & Communication Skills (English)

  • I - Intelligence

  • C - Conscientiousness

  • A - Agreeableness

  • N - Normativity

The test takes approximately 2 hours and must be completed in one online session. Your identity will be verified through digital identification.

 

3. Simulator Test - I-JET

If you pass the PELICAN© Test, you will be invited for a Simulator Test on the I-JET at EuroPilot Center Antwerp.

  • Duration: approximately 60 minutes

  • Conducted with an instructor

  • No preparation required

During this session, the results of the PELICAN test are validated in a practical simulator environment.

 

4. Results

Your Airline Career Coach will provide your screening results within 5 working days.

The ACP© Screening does not require any specific prior knowledge or preparation. After registering, you will receive access to the online Math & Physics Refresher Course, designed to refresh your basic mathematics and physics knowledge.

The course takes approximately 3 - 4 hours and includes explanations, exercises and examples to help you prepare for the EPC PELICAN© Test.

No preparation is required for the I-JET Simulator Test. This test primarily evaluates your basic skills, situational awareness and learning potential.

No. The required EASA Class 1 Medical cannot be issued by a general practitioner and must be completed at an approved Aviation Medical Center (AeMC).

For the FAA Class 3 Medical, EuroPilot Center collaborates with Authorized Medical Examiners in California.

Our Airline Career Coach will assist you with scheduling your appointment and starting the medical certification process.

How long is my Class 1 Medical valid?

The validity of your European (EASA) Class 1 Medical for multi-pilot operations depends on your age*:

  • 12 months until the age of 60

  • 6 months from 60 onwards

The validity of your U.S. FAA Class 3 Medical also depends on your age*:

  • 60 months (5 years) if you are under 40 years old

  • 24 months (2 years) from age 40 onwards
