Elvira Saitova has three years of professional experience in the field of energy, environmental and public & administrative law (national, European and International aspects). Elvira is specializing in the liberalisation of the electricity and gas markets, renewable energy, rural electrification and energy efficiency. She has significant experience as a lawyer and consultant in setting-up of projects in the energy field, in the review and drafting of energy legislation and in the implementation of EU Law. She has expertise in Europe, in Central Asia and in Africa.
Elvira Saitova holds a Master degree in Public and Administrative Law from the University of Liège (Belgium, 2014) and an LL.M in International Law from King's College London (United Kingdom, 2015). She also completed a "Blue Book" traineeship at the European Commission in 2015-2016 (Directorate General Energy: “Wholesale Markets - Electricity and Gas"). She was subsequently admitted to the Brussels Bar and joined Janson Baugniet in 2016.
She speaks, reads and writes French, Russian and English, and has knowledge of Dutch, Spanish and Kyrgyz.
