A direct debit (domiciliëring) is an agreement between you and the company or organization to which you owe a certain amount. You give permission for this company or organization to withdraw the amount from your bank account on a specific date. If you activate a direct debit, you receive a €2 discount on the monthly administrative fees.
Want to activate direct debit for the Group Childcare department (0 to 3 years)? Click here.
Want to activate direct debit for the Out-of-School Childcare department (2.5 to 12 years)? Click here.
Want to stop your direct debit? You can do this via your banking app. (!) Make sure to also inform your team coach, so the correct administrative fees can be applied.
Did your direct debit fail? This can happen for several reasons, such as insufficient funds in your bank account. Kindercentrum will not reattempt the direct debit, so please notify us at facturatie@kindercentrum.be so we can provide the correct instructions for a manual transfer. (!) Please note: insufficient funds may result in additional fees charged by your bank.
In case of illness or medical procedures, the team coach (and, if necessary, the caregivers) must be informed. You are required to notify the childcare location no later than 9:00 AM on the day itself.
If notification is given after 9:00 AM or not at all, a penalty of €8 will be charged. In cases of force majeure, supported by written proof (for example: an accident report following a traffic incident, a certificate from public transport in case of delay or strike, a doctor’s note, etc.), no penalty will be charged. Your sick note must be submitted to the team coach within 5 days.
In case of illness of your child, the following rules apply:
With a doctor’s note: no penalty will be charged.
Without a doctor’s note: a penalty will be charged.
Without a doctor’s note, but using a respite day: no penalty will be charged.
(!) Important: Repeated and unjustified late pickups of your child may lead to a unilateral termination of the agreement, at your expense as the contract holder.
You can find the monthly invoices for group childcare via the parent portal of Deona. You will also receive the invoice by email or by post.
For out-of-school care, invoices are available via Payt and are also sent to you by email or by post.
Before February, the information in your parent portal must be completed. It is important that you enter the national registry numbers of yourself (the parent(s)) as well as your child(ren). Please complete all the information you are able to provide.
The tax certificates will be generated and will appear in your ‘MyMinFin’ account after February. You can also request them via: facturatie@kindercentrum.be.
Everything about our before and after school childcare.
No, you don’t need to make a reservation. However, always inform the teacher or school staff, so your child is ready and waiting in the designated childcare line. This predictability also makes the experience more comfortable for your child. Many schools use a weekly schedule—make sure to clearly mark the days your child needs childcare.
(!) Important: You must register as a client with Kindercentrum. Out-of-school childcare is not organized by the school, but by Kindercentrum vzw, and it’s essential that we have all the necessary information to properly care for your child and ensure insurance coverage.
You can register here: https://kindercentrum.be/nl/onzediensten/inschrijven-buitenschoolse-opvang/

GO! Biezebos:

Because we don’t work with registrations for before- and after-school care, it’s not possible for us to know in advance which children will be present. We also don’t have information about the absence of siblings. So, when a child badges in, we can’t verify whether they are actually supposed to attend childcare. We understand that this can be inconvenient. However, the responsibility lies with the parents. Please make sure to inform the teacher if your children are not allowed to go to childcare. That way, this situation can be avoided.
Everything about our holiday care during school breaks and non-school days.
Yes, you must always register in advance for holiday care. Before- and after-school care does not require a reservation, but holiday care does.
Are you already a customer?
1. Check your parent portal
Log in to the parent portal (ouderportaal.tjek.be) in time and complete any missing information.
Want to add another child?
Fill in the online registration form for that child via:https://kindercentrum.be/nl/onzediensten/inschrijven-buitenschoolse-opvang/ Our child planning service will then create a new agreement and add the child to your account.
2. You will automatically receive an invitation to register
For every school holiday, you will automatically receive an email containing:
a flyer with all practical information and registration dates
the date from which you can register
the deadline for free cancellation
After this cancellation deadline, cancellations are only possible with a doctor’s certificate.
After this date, you can still register via email.
Tip: Keep a close eye on your inbox and note the registration date in your calendar.
We also share registration announcements on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/kindercentrumvzw
3. Registration confirmation
Your child is only officially registered once you have received the confirmation email. Please check this carefully.
🆕 Are you a new customer?
1. Registration
New parents must fill in an online form — one form per child.
After processing, you will receive a written agreement to sign.
Your registration is only complete after signing this agreement.
Your child will then receive a badge and can use before- and after-school care (no reservation required).
2. Registering for holiday care
Holiday care always requires advance registration.
If you register after the information for the upcoming holiday has been sent out, you will receive all details by email.
3. Free choice of location during holidays
During school holidays, you may choose any of our childcare locations — you are not limited to the location your child attends during the school year.
Yes, even during holiday childcare, we use our blue Tjek bears to check children in and out. This helps us process billing more efficiently and allows our staff to focus more on the children rather than the computer.
Did you forget the badge?
The staff can manually register your child once as an exception — we understand bags may change during the holidays.
(!) Important: If your child is manually registered for the third time, a penalty fee will be charged.
This issue can occur if you logged in just a bit too early, before the registration period officially opened.
Simply refresh your browser, and the registration period should appear.
Registrations for holiday childcare are always done via: https://ouderportaal.tjek.be/auth/login
Use the email address known to Kindercentrum and your own chosen password. (Note: Since 2023, unique login codes sent by email are no longer used!)
Kindercentrum announces the start of registrations in advance by email and on social media. So keep an eye on your mailbox (including spam and promotions folders) and follow us on Instagram and Facebook.
You can only log in if you are already a registered client with us. If it’s your first time using our holiday childcare, you will need to register as a new client first here: https://kindercentrum.be/nl/onzediensten/inschrijven-buitenschoolse-opvang/
You can send an email to bko@kindercentrum.be for this. Please note that a fee of €6 will be charged if you had reserved a half day, or €10 if you had reserved a full day. Cancellation fees do not apply in case of illness, provided a doctor's note is submitted.

Morning snack (10-uurtje)
Lunch
Afternoon snack (4-uurtje)
Refillable water bottle
In sunny weather, also bring:
A cap or sunhat

Everything about our group childcare (nurseries for children aged 0 to 3 years).
You must first submit an application via https://kindercentrum.be/nl/inschrijven/ or through Opvang.Vlaanderen.
If it is difficult for you to complete the form online, you can make an appointment with the child planning service by calling the central number 056 60 73 40, option “request a spot.”
Please note: within Kindercentrum, a minimum of four childcare days per week applies.
In exceptional cases, an exception can be made when parents wish to start earlier with a limited number of days. As soon as capacity allows, attendance will be increased to four days per week.
A minimum of four childcare days per week provides greater continuity and emotional stability for the child, supporting their well-being and development. It also strengthens group dynamics and allows caregivers to better respond to each child’s needs, while ensuring efficient planning and sustainable organization of the childcare service.
No. You must first submit an application via https://kindercentrum.be/nl/inschrijven/ or through Opvang.Vlaanderen.
The child planning team will review your request and send you an offer within a maximum of 3 weeks that best matches your preferences. Only after that can you make an appointment with the daycare team coach for a tour.
Respite days are considered as leave days for your child. If your child does not attend childcare on a given day, you can use a respite day. This day is regarded as a justified absence, so you don’t have to pay for that day.
The number of respite days is calculated based on your childcare plan during the current care year.
For a full-time childcare plan, you are entitled to 18 respite days for a full calendar year (January 1 – December 31).
You can track your used respite days through your monthly invoice.
(!) Important: If your child starts school in the first week of January, you might not have any respite days left for the new year.
Make sure to coordinate closely with your team coach to avoid any misunderstandings regarding billing for the last days at the daycare.
Daily rate based on income-related rate (IKT)
All our daycare centers at Kindercentrum fall under the IKT category. This means you can apply for a daily rate based on your income. To do this, you need a certificate from the “Opgroeien” agency.
You can calculate or simulate your rate in advance via mijn.kindengezin. Click on the button "Apply for or simulate income-related rate".
You may also be entitled to a reduced individual rate in case of unemployment, disability, bankruptcy benefits, being an underage teenage mother, etc. The Public Welfare Center (OCMW) can also offer support and more information.
You can read the full brochure from the 'Opgroeien agency'.
Yes, the schedule continues during school holidays.

Omdat we kwalitatieve opvang willen blijven bieden, bekijken we elk opvangplan zorgvuldig.
