OUR COMPANY
38 years ago, the brothers Rudi, Yvo and Marc Eerdekens started making screw thread products in their garage. Various industrial builders and fitters bought materials such as anchor bolts, tie rods, weld ends and other related products.
The company grew rapidly and in 1987 Mero-Fix moved to its current location in the Oudsbergen industrial park. Today Mero-Fix is a stable SME with 10 employees. As the founders Yvo and Marc Eerdekens did not have a successor in the family, a buyer was found to ensure the continuity of the company. Kristof Christis and Koen Jacobs are now at the helm as the new owners and managers of Mero-Fix.
“This takeover does not entail any noticeable change for the customer,” confirm Kristof and Koen. "The same team will guarantee the same quality standards from the same location."
Kristof and Koen invest in a combination of new technology and sustainability to further digitize Mero-Fix and make it greener. In the short term there will also be an expansion with various welding activities. In this way, the new managers want Mero-Fix to grow sustainably.

Also, for tailor-made matters, we are the contact point: everything can be pleated or manipulated according to your personal preferences, in different diameters, weights and types of steel.
For the petrochemistry, piping or other industrial sectors, we are a trustworthy partner for the production of (big) U-brackets in galvanised steel or RVS. We can make these, from M6 till M36, also tailor-made. Some U-bracket versions are always in stock (according to DIN 3570 or Standard).
Continuous investment in machines
Mero-Fix continually improves its production processes and regularly invests in new techniques. The large number of professional machines makes gamma wide range of operations possible. Thus, we dispose over, amongst others, cut and thread roll machines, bending machines for round bars, brace pleating machines and induction machines for the heating up of bars. Thanks to these continuous investments, we do not only guarantee quality, but also detailed professional finishing and high production speed (average 3.5 tons threads and fixing materials per day).
